Remko (tevens een geroemd en veelgevraagd cartoonist) is in de hoedanigheid als muzikant: en zanger tevens veelal de componist, tekstschrijver en producer van zijn eigen werk. Met enkele (vaste) gastmuzikanten vanuit de hele wereld heeft hij een duidelijk eigen geluid weten te creëren. Remko heeft daarnaast diverse nummers met muziek van Laurent Lombard (Frankrijk) en raps van ManOnFire (Atlanta USA) gemaakt. Geïnspireerd door grote artiesten uit het verleden als Sly Stone, Prince, Brian Wilson, Mark Ronson, The Beatles, Elvis, Queen, Stevie Wonder, Hall and Oates, The Temptations en Frank Zappa, maakt Remko Kaye de muziek die hij in zijn hoofd hoort. Remko Kaye (KAYE) is a self producing musician (and cartoonist). His music is best described as 'Retro'. Music injected with rythm and blues, funk, soul, roots, americana, country, hiphop, pop, brass, reggae, electronic dance. With mostly American influences.

After being the lead singer of several bands, Remko decided to take matters into his own hands and focus on his own work and productions. Remko (also a praised and much sought-after cartoonist) is, in his capacity as a musician and singer, also often the composer, lyricist and producer of his own work. With a number of (regular) guest musicians from all over the world, he has managed to create a clearly unique sound. Remko has also made several songs with music by Laurent Lombard (France) and raps by ManOnFire (Atlanta, USA).
